ACUTE TREATMENT SERVICES / DETOX (ATS)
Acute treatment services (ATS) provide medically monitored detoxification (detox). Programs provide 24-hour nursing care, under the consultation of a medical director, to monitor an individual's withdrawal from drugs and alcohol, and alleviate symptoms. Average length of stay is 3 to 7 days.
RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES / RECOVERY HOUSES
Residential Facilities (Recovery Homes) are long-term residential programs for individuals recovering from addiction. These structured, therapeutic, drug (non-prescribed) and alcohol-free programs provide case management and counseling.. Note: prescribed medications are allowed.
